St. Michael’s Church Centre is available for hire
 INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PANELS ON CHURCH CENTRE
Following the award of grants from Low Carbon Dorset and the Community Lottery Fund, which cover the entire costs, solar panels were installed on the Church Centre roof August 2024, reducing both our carbon footprint and future energy costs.

Church Centre Groups

We have a number of different groups use our Centre for a wide variety of activities during the week.  Have a look at the activities page on our website to see what we have going on.  Groups looking for new members include:

Colehill Writers Group - This group meets up every third Friday in the Alec Moore Room from 1.30 - 4.00pm.  They are a very friendly creative writing group, both supportive and encouraging (and there are homemade cakes). There is a reasonable charge of £5 per session with the first one free.  If you are interested in going along, please contact Ian on 07971104179.  The group do not meet during August.

Tappy Toes - Baby, toddler and pre school dance classes are a great way to introduce youngsters to exercise at an early age. Brooke runs fun and active dancing classes for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Classes on Tuesday mornings, 9.30 - 10.30am.  Contact Brooke on 07729999392 or email on wimborne@tappytoes.com

Slimming World -
 Come along and join Karen every Thursday, 6 - 7.30pm, and Saturdays 7.30 - 8.30am & 9 - 10.30am  to see how Slimming World can support you to maintain a healthy weight for life! A warm welcome awaits you. Call Karen on 07957234839

St Michael's Church Centre is designed to provide a central meeting point for residents and local groups & charities. 

Our facilities are available for hire for wedding receptions, anniversaries, birthday celebrations*,  children's parties*, presentations, lectures, fitness groups, film shows, concerts, conferences and much more.
